This project, completed in December 1998, required working in close collaboration with the Loews Hotels Corporation. Iu + Bibliowicz Architects' responsibility on this project included architectural design, construction documentation and construction administration for the renovation of this core property owned by the Loews Hotels Corporation.

The scope of work included the reconfiguration of the lobby, reception and hotel services areas; the renovation of one and two bedroom suites; ensuring complete ADA compliance; improvement of circulation; and updating the life safety systems. The project was phased so that the 21-floor hotel could remain fully occupied and operational throughout the duration of the project.
