After a successful tenure as head of The Bertelsmann Music Group, Mr. Zelnick founded this entrepreneurial venture and located it in an office building on Fifth Avenue in New York. The space suited the functional requirements but lacked the Zelnick Media signature.

The charge was to design the public spaces, including the entry, reception and the conference suite, to reflect the energy, culture and vision of Zelnick Media.

By extracting the essence of selected existing materials, a common thread was created throughout the suite, linking the workspaces with the new public spaces.

Utilizing a specially selected flitch of Mahogany with highlights as a focal point in the reception area, contrasted by a light stone flooring and area carpeting, an envelope was created for white Barcelona chairs and a white, high-gloss, lacquered reception desk.

The core wall in the reception area was designed as the background for displaying the various corporations that are part of this venture, with built in flexibility for expansion.
